Austin Brown

Currently in 16th year in public education. Currently serving 5th year as principal of Madison Central High School in Madison County. Previously served as principal of Sumner Hill Junior High School in Clinton Public Schools.

Chris Fleming

Chris Fleming currently serves as principal of Lewisburg High School in Olive Branch, Mississippi. Prior to his four years as principal at LHS, Chris served as principal of Lewisburg Middle School, where in 2012; Chris was selected as the METLife MASSP Middle School Principal of the Year. Mr. Fleming has over twenty years of experience in the educational field. Chris worked as a teacher and a coach for more than a decade prior to transitioning into school administration.

Excellent Academic performance by all students has been a mainstay and focal point in all of the schools where Mr. Fleming has worked. Lewisburg Middle achieved “Star School Status”, as well as being rated an “A” school on the Mississippi Department of Education Accountability Model from 2010-2013 school years. Lewisburg High earned the highest level attainable during school years 2013-2016 in addition to being recognized for producing the state’s highest ranking on the MDE model for the 2015-2016 year. Lewisburg High was also recognized by the Mississippi Board of Education for the highest achievement in ELA and Math for proficiency, in addition to having the highest growth in ELA and Math as well. Lewisburg high as produced numerous National Merit Finalist, along with a lengthy list of 30+ ACT Club members during the school years 2013-2016.

Mr. Fleming received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Delta State University in 1993 and his Masters in Educational Leadership from the University of Mississippi in 2006. Chris lives in Hernando with his wife Shannon and their three children, Claire, Jace and Asa. They are members of Longview Point Baptist Church, where Chris and Shannon lead a Connect Group and are involved with various mission works. When not at Lewisburg High events Chris can be found in gyms and on soccer and baseball fields watching and coaching his children in those sports.

Joe Nelson

Joe Nelson, Principal of the Pass Christian Middle School, has been honored as Principal of the Year for the PCSD, Mississippi Middle School Principal of the Year, one of the Top Three Middle School Principals in the United States, and the Henry Drake Administrator of the Year for the Mississippi State Association of Student Councils. In 2012, his school also earned recognition as a National Blue Ribbon School. In addition, Mr. Nelson serves as a Member of the Board of Directors for Learning Forward Mississippi and the Mississippi Association of Secondary School Principals as well as a member of other numerous professional associations.

Ben Stein

Ben Stein is native of Folsom, Louisiana. During college, he played baseball at William Carey University in Hattiesburg where he received a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Ben earned his Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Mississippi College graduating Summa Cum Laude. Additionally, he has completed the Principals’ Institute at Millsaps College and the National Institute for School Leaders (NISL) program. Ben is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from Delta State University.

Ben has been with the Rankin County School District for 18 years, during which he is serving as a science teacher, basketball/baseball coach, transportation director, assistant principal and now lead principal at Northwest Rankin High School. Bens professional organization memberships include the MAC, MASSP and NASSP.

Ben has been married for 19 years to his high school sweetheart, the former Jaime Malley of Covington, Louisiana. She is Director of Tax for C-Spire. They have two children, who attend schools within the Northwest Rankin school zone. Ben is actively involved in the NWR community as a board member for the Flowood Chamber and a member of the Education Committee
