2020 MASSP/MAESA/ MSASPA Summer Conference Cancelled Due to COVID-19

The Mississippi Association of Secondary School Principals Board of Directors has made the decision to cancel the 2020 summer conference scheduled for June 23-26 in Biloxi. Due to possible health concerns for the attendees, exhibitors, presenters and ancillary personnel, the board determined it would be inadvisable to proceed with the conference as planned. The uncertainty of specific guidelines regarding numbers of participants while maintaining social distancing within group settings, would impact the desired outcome of the conference.

In lieu of the formal summer conference, the MASSP is planning to offer targeted content virtual professional development training for our members and prospective members. The proposed topics should be extremely helpful as preparations are made for the coming school year.

Watch for updates regarding the PD offerings on the MASSP website, massp.net, and via email.

For conference registrants whose fees have already been received, refunds will be made within the next month.

We look forward to seeing you at our MASSP/MAESA/MSASPA summer conference in 2021!

Be safe, be well, be happy!!
