Notice of 2021 Summer Conference

February 27th, 2021

Hello MASSP members and prospective members.

We hope all is going well with each one of you, and that you, your personal families, and work families are safe and healthy. To those of you who have lost loved ones or friends to this terrible virus, we extend our sincere sympathy, and to those who have been ill and recovered, we celebrate with you and say a prayer of thanks!

With COVID causing such an upheaval in the world in 2020, requiring so many restrictions and changes in our daily lives and in our chosen profession, we realize how much we have missed the unrestricted opportunities we had to gather for lunch, in meetings, and at conferences. Though still a work in progress, technology has fortunately allowed us opportunities to stay in touch and teach our students, but it still does not compare with face-to-face interaction. Since we had to cancel the summer conference last year, quite a few of you have inquired about the possibility of having it this year, and the answer to that is, yes, we are working toward an in-person meeting.

Depending on the mandated restrictions at the time, the number of attendees and vendors might have to be limited in relation to the total capacity of the venue. And, regarding the venue, we will be changing locations of the conference this year due to scheduling issues. All the details are yet to be determined, but plans for a June conference are in the works. As soon as the plans are finalized, registration will be made available on this website. However, it will probably be the middle of March before that occurs. In the meantime, if you have any questions please contact us.

Stay Safe!
